Add a Financial or Shopping Account from the ID Vault Main Menu

Another way to add a financial or shopping account to ID Vault is by selecting Add Financial Account or Add Shopping Account from the ID Vault Main Menu. The example shown below shows the process for adding a financial account, but the process is the same for adding a shopping account.

  1. Select 'Add Financial Account' from the ID Vault Main Menu
  2. Type your bank's Web site name or URL in the search box and select it from the list
  3. Log in to your account
  4. Click Yes when prompted to save the account

1. Select 'Add Financial Account' from the ID Vault Main Menu

Bring up the ID Vault main menu, by clicking on the ID Vault desktop icon or system tray icon. Select 'Add Financial Account'.

2. Type your bank's name or Web site URL into the search box on the next screen

ID Vault continuously monitors more than 8,000 financial institutions. Type your bank's name or Web site URL into the search box and press the Enter key or Search button to view the results.

Select your bank from the list of results returned.

If your financial institution isn't listed, click the 'I can't find the Web site I'm looking for' link. This link brings up a pop-up a dialog that provides instructions on how to add the account as an 'Other Account'.

3. Log in to your account at the Web site

ID Vault will open the Web site in the ID Vault Secure View Browser. Log into the Web site as you normally would.

4. Save the Account

ID Vault will ask you to confirm that you have logged in correctly. Click 'Yes' to confirm and save the account in your ID Vault. If you were not logged into your account, click 'No' to go back to the log in page and try again.

To add another account to ID Vault, simply click on the magnifying glass icon on the ID Vault Secure View Browser toolbar. The search screen shown in Step 2 above will re-open for you to add your next account.
